Home Diary Early Years Juniors Seniors VLE

The Juniors all brought their teddies to school to raise money for Cancer Research. There was a competition for the best dressed teddy and this went to Melissa’s teddy who was wearing an colourful Hawaiian skirt made by Melissa herself and the prize for the teddy with the biggest personality went to Emmy. The judge was a Governor, Mrs Nikki Byfield, who decided that the smallest people often have the largest personalities and so Emmy’s tiny yet well-loved bear should have the award.

Photo Competition

My Coastal Life is a photography competition which challenges you to think creatively about your coastal environments. The challenge is for you to take one photo of your favourite coastal scene and write fifty words explaining your choice. These photos will be uploaded to our inter-active map allowing you to share your perspectives with contemporaries around the ocean rim. There are fantastic prizes on offer and the chance to have your photo judged by one of the world's leading explorers. If you enter this competition please be aware of your personal safety – go to the coast in a group of at least three, ensuring you have your parents/carers permission and a mobile phone. You must be vigilant of the tides at all times.
