The Junior ICT Suites

ICT is taught to our children from nursery age upwards. Every classroom has at least one computer but most have two as well as Smart Boards, projectors and a range of fun and educational technology for the children to explore.

The Towers Junior School is very lucky to have access to two ICT suites. We have a smaller suite in the Junior school building which houses twelve computers and a larger room in the Senior School which houses twenty-four computers. Children are encouraged to use the classroom computers on a daily basis and have a weekly double lesson in one of our suites. The suites are modern and have up-to-date equipment which is maintained by our technicians.

Technology is all around us and the children learn how it influences their daily lives. They use digital cameras, video cameras, microscopes, microphones, musical keyboards, robots and so much more!

The children bring so much to our lessons as they are part of the exciting technological twentieth century. Technology is moving forwards at a tremendous pace and our students are able to move with it. Lessons are exciting and ever-changing as teacher and student share in these advances.
